Homesick

A few days ago, I told the hubby that I was feeling homesick. He laughed at me and said he should be the one saying that because he's the one who was left behind in Riyadh while I'm back in the good old Philippines. However, as I pointed out to him, "HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS..." and that's why I felt that way.

Today, I was experiencing it again quite acutely so to comfort myself, I cooked myself up some carbonara... the way Jeje and I make it. In a way, it brought me to a good place for a while. With every forkful, I daydreamed... hehehe!

... and he dealt with his homesickness by buying a new digicam for us and a portable DVD player... retail therapy. and telling me only after the fact!
