1. What did you do in 2007 that you hadn’t done before?
Get pregnant! :)

2. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Me, me, me! And my dear friend Jem.

3. Did anyone close to you die?
Nope, thank God.

4. Did you travel? Where did you go? Best holiday memory?
Yes, I went to Riyadh in December '06 then returned home in July '07. Spending Christmas with Jeje for the first time.

5. Best thing you bought?
I didn't buy anything significant in '07.

6. Where did most of your money go?
To our baby.

7. What do you wish you had done more of?
Exercise. It would have made childbearing so much easier!

8. What do you wish you had done less of?
Picking petty fights with Je. *bows head in shame*

9. What kept you sane?
Definitely blogging and reading.

10. What drove you mad?
Being pregnant… the hormones wreaked havoc on my entire personality!

11. What made you celebrate?
Our first year wedding anniversary and having Jeolo.

12. What made you sad?
Leaving Je in Saudi and Je leaving me in the Philippines.

13. How was your birthday this year?
Wonderful! I finally got to celebrate it with my husband and our son.

14. What political issue stirred you the most this year?
The administration's blatant cheating during the elections.

15. Were you in love in 2007?
Of course… with my Sweetie!

16. What would you like to have in 2008 that you didn’t have this year?
My pre-pregnancy weight (just 4 lbs to go, woohoo!) and regular exercise with badminton and Pilates.

17. What date from 2007 will be etched in your memory and why?
August 22 at 3:15 pm because I finally popped out my little tyke after 37 weeks of carrying him around.

18. What song will remind you of 2007?
Rihanna's "Umbrella"… ella, ella, ella…

19. Compared to this time last year, are you happier?
Yes!

20. Biggest achievement this year?
Becoming a mother.

21. Biggest disappointment this year?
Myself. I was not a very nice person.

22. What is the one thing that would have made you more satisfied?
Being together with my husband and our baby in one place.

23. Best new person you met this year?
My bloggy friends and Risa on Multiply.

24. A valuable life lesson you learned this year?
That patience really is a virtue.

25. How was your health in 2007?
Pretty good except for a really bad cold while I was still pregnant.

26. Did you keep your new years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn't make any last year but I made a couple for this year.

27. What countries did you visit?
Only KSA.

28. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
A very comfortable nest egg. :)

29. Did you suffer hardship in 2007?
Adjusting to married life and to each other after having been single for so long.

30. Whose behavior merited celebration?
My husband's. He used to be so immature but he's grown up so much this past year.

31. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Mine. I was cranky, bitchy and unpredictable. But can I blame it on the hormones, please?

32. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Motherhood and spending time with my little family.

33. Compared to this time last year, are you:

i. Happier or sadder? Happier.
ii. Thinner or fatter? Fatter.
iii. Richer or poorer? Poorer financially, richer in life experiences and love.


34. How did you spend the New Year’s?
With my parents, siblings and my baby Jeolo and a wonderful spread on the table.

Not applicable!

36. What was your favorite TV program?
Several! 24, Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, House MD, Maging Sino Ka Man.

37. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?
Quoting from the book "The Five People You Meet In Heaven", "…hatred is a curved blade. And the harm we do, we do to ourselves." So, no hating!

38. What was the best book you read?
Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows! :o) I know, it's not exactly serious reading but I loved it.

39. What was your greatest musical (re)discovery?
Chris Daughtry.

40. What did you want and get?
I got a lot of things that I wanted and I'm thankful.

41. What did you want and not get?
A big win in the lottery, hahaha!

42. What was your favorite film that you watched this year?
Transformers… it was so much fun!

43. What one experience do you never want to repeat from this 2007?
My craziness!

44. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2007?
Being pregnant doesn't mean I have to look like a beached whale wearing a tent.

45. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
No one in particular.

46. Who did you miss?
Friends & family while I was in Riyadh then my hubby when I went back to the Philippines.

48. Was 2007 a good year for you?
All in all, yes it was.

49. What was your favorite moment of the year?
Spending nearly 50 days together with my two J's.

Our last argument of the year.

In Riyadh.

My husband.

53. Do you have a new year’s resolution for 2008?
Yes, it's all listed in my last Thursday Thirteen. But I'd like to add one more which is to pare down, get back to basics, to learn what is essential for my happiness, and to realize what's really important.

54. What was your favorite month of 2007?
Parts of October and November.

55. What was your favorite song in 2007?
"You Are The One" by Elliot Yamin.

56. What was your favorite record from 2007?
None in particular.

57. How many concerts did you see in 2007?
Nada.

58. Did you drink a lot of alcohol in 2007?
Nope but I realized I can still have lots of fun even without it.

59. Did you do a lot of drugs in 2007?
Nuh-uh!

60. How many people did you sleep with in 2007?
Only one. My husband , of course.

61. Did you do anything you are ashamed of this year?
Yes but I'm not going to tell.

62. What was the worst lie someone told you in 2007?
I can't recall. Probably was too preoccupied with my life to spot it.

I hope not!

Yup, myself… hahaha!

65. What was your most embarrassing moment of 2007?
Getting shaved down there by a complete stranger!

66. If you could go back in time to any moment of 2007 and change something, what would it be?
My temper!

67. What are you most looking forward to in 2008?
Being with my husband again, going back to work, witnessing Jeolo's milestones.
