when you least expect it...

Today I learned something that left me feeling hurt and a little angry. It's always painful when you find out that someone who you think highly of and you believe is upfront with you says something behind your back. The consolation for me is that that person didn't know any better. Still, I couldn't help but feel bad about it. If it were just me, I'd speak to that person to clear things up but for the sake of someone that I love very much who asked me to let it go, I will.
