it snuck up on me

I know I said that I'd finally stop whining about my so-called "weight issue". And I did... right after this post. But today I got a small pleasant surprise. I got on the scale this morning and I'm only 2 lbs shy of reaching my goal weight of 120 *BIG GRIN*. I really did stop thinking about trying to lose those last few stubborn pounds. I was actually expecting to gain a little because I've been eating a lot lately. Then two days ago, my sis-in-law's friend, who's from the same city as I am and had last seen me 3 months ago, was here and she told me that I'd lost weight. That's when I realized that I had to wear a belt every time I put on my jeans (the size 28 & 29 ones I bought after giving birth because I didn't fit into my old ones anymore). Plus I no longer look like a suman whenever I wore my medium-sized baby tees. It's all probably because of my son's hyperactiveness (is there such a word?!) these last few weeks. Total body workout.

Anyway, I'm happy. :o)
