Men and babies

We went for another ultrasound this morning and it pretty much re-confirmed the previous one we had... we're having a boy. And he's a big boy. I'm only on my 26th week but his size is that of a 27-week old fetus and who now weighs approximately 4 lbs. I guess that's why his kicks and turns are quite strong.

Poppa-to-be was quite the happy man as he saw our baby open and close his mouth a couple of times. Just an hour before we went for my appointment, he'd already bragged to his best bud on the phone that his firstborn's a boy. Thor's first two kids were girls, third was a boy and now his wife's pregnant with another baby boy. His other barkada Mart has two girls already and his wife's due to give birth this July to another baby girl. The hubby's taking particular pride that his eldest is going to be a boy...*roll eyes*... MEN. Ibig sabihin daw hindi sya babaero dati... yeah, right. :o)

Unfortunately, we weren't able to get a photo because the machine's polaroid was on the fritz. I think I'll do a 4D when I get back home instead.
