Shopping!

After finally seeing it with my own eyes, I no longer have any doubts as to whether I’m having a baby boy or not. When I had an ultrasound on my 5th month, the tech had already told us that I was carrying a boy but I still had some reservations about it. I’d heard too many stories of incorrect readings of ultrasound photos that’s why a small part of me stayed noncommittal about the entire gender issue. But last Monday’s 4D left no room for doubt so today I finally went clothes shopping for our baby. Yep, I waited this long to do that. It was fun picking out the baby stuff! The tops, booties & mittens, old-fashioned lampin, bibs, towels, bath things… and the list goes on. I have to admit, I was a mite too OC about everything I chose but I stayed practical and didn’t go overboard with the shopping. I have yet to get a crib but I’ll probably do that next week.

This is one time that shopping for someone else has proven to be an enjoyable event. :o)
