Cellphones are there for a reason

It is incredibly irritating when I call people on their mobile phones and they don’t pick up. Why carry them around at all if you can't even be contacted through them? What if I'd been calling for help because someone was attacking me? You'd probably only find out in the evening news… after I'm found dead in a gutter.
