If, like me, you're forever searching for the perfect template for your blog, this may be the answer to your quest: the Blogger Template Designer.
All you have to do, unless you've already made Blogger in Draft your default, is go to your Dashboard and look for the tab that says Blogger in Draft and click. It would be better if you created a new blog to make your new template with so, in case you mess up, your existing blog will be safe. Or download and backup your current theme.
Go to Layout and there you'll find the sub-tab Template Designer and you can immediately start playing with the many choices Blogger has provided.
Here's a sample from my test blog. I haven't tweaked the HTML or anything yet.
