Things I Love: Yogurt

First of all, I'd like to thank my bloggy friend Ibyang over at A Wife's Charmed Life for coming up with this wonderful idea of sharing stuff that she enjoys and for generously agreeing to let me borrow her concept. :h

I've long wanted to acquire the taste for eating fresh plain yogurt but the spoiled milk taste always managed to turn me off. I settled with eating the flavored ones but always found it a bit sweet. I wanted yogurt to be my guiltless snack option but the sugar content wasn't helping me any. Then I decided to try popping a cup of plain, low fat yogurt in the freezer then topping it with a handful of wheat cereal and some sliced fruits. Guess what? It was really good!

Low-fat yogurt tastes so much better than the regular variant and the addition of cereal and fruits made it even yummier! I've also decided to use it as my substitute to milk when eating cereal since my lactose-intolerance causes me some discomfort each time I use milk. And a cup can last me nearly four hours before I get really hungry again. Good news for my weight-loss plan.

Have a cup, or a bowl, with me! :)
