running in tune

In keeping with my weight loss plan, I've started running regularly again. I kind of fell off the wagon for a while but I got my motivation back so it's back to huffing and puffing on the treadmill five times a week for 25-45 minutes depending on what day it is.

And because I need aural stimulation to help me get through an entire run, I turn to music to keep me going. I'm thankful that with so many people in to running  these days, I found a lot of playlist suggestions online. Right now, I'm alternating between this Couch to 5K running program podcast by Robert Ullrey and a Glee-inspired playlist I made. For this coming week, I'll be doing Week 3 (heaven help me!) of the Couch to 5K program on Saturday, Monday and Wednesday then intersperse it with a longer but more relaxed pace with the Glee music on .

You can download the Couch to 5K podcasts HERE if you're interested. And here's my Glee-ful Run playlist:

  1. Proud Mary by Creedence Clearwater Revival
  2. Shake Your Booty by KC and the Sunshine Band
  3. Bust A Move by Young MC
  4. Don't Stop Believing by Glee Cast
  5. Jump by Van Halen
  6. U Can't Touch This by MC Hammer
  7. Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) by Beyonce
  8. My Life Would Suck Without You by Glee Cast
  9. Bad Romance by Glee Cast
  10. Give Up the Funk (Tear the Roof Off the Sucker) by Parliament
  11. Safety Dance by Men at Work
  12. Somewhere Over the Rainbow by Glee Cast

I prefer the original recording for most of the songs and used it instead of the Glee versions.

It's time to bring my sexy back!
